                            Computer Systems Engineer Mid

Job Role: 
Plans installs, integrates and validates moderately complex systems software and hardware solutions following with guidance from others.  Acquires and applies maturing knowledge of the business, its products, and processes. Participates in the development and implementation of team initiatives as a team resource. Resolves issues and identifies appropriate issues for escalation. Performs moderately complex work assignments and problem resolution. Applies learned skills to perform problem resolution across integrated platforms, systems, processes, or channels.

Job Overview:
1. Apply technical skills to solve moderately complex problems infrastructure and application performance and availability problems.
2. Expand troubleshooting skills in one domain.
3. Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of system issues.
4. Uses team tools and processes to achieve team goals under guidance from experienced team members.
5. Perform system monitoring, diagnostic to identify root cause analysis and determine corrective actions.
6. May modify system tools and implement software configuration to run multiple applications.
7. Participate on projects to gain an understanding of a project lifecycle and contributes to the project by conducting research on requested tasks.

Minimum Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, 2+ years relevant business support and/or general information technology support experience, Basic knowledge of systems administration and/or systems programming skills, Basic knowledge of Websphere, Unix, Windows Server, Desktop OS internals or Mainframe domains.

Unix Scripting
Absolute Manage Certified
 Familiar with distribution processes
Packaging experience 
Windows server experience
